By Hilary Cluett, Michelle Hampson and Bethany Horne Rural Nova Scotians proved mostly loyal to their incumbent MPs, with the notable exception of West Nova, in which the Conservatives defeated the sitting Liberal. On the above map, Liberal ridings are indicated in red, Conservative in blue, NDP in orange and independent in purple.
